Loan portfolio of National Mortgage Company up over 35% for 5 months of 2011
ArmInfo. The portfolio of the refinanced mortgage loans of the National Mortgage Company (NMC) was up over 35% for Jan-May 2011 to 12.102 bln drams as of June 1 (1632 loans).
By NMC's official data, the company ensures sustainable monthly growth of the loan portfolio. In February the portfolio of refinanced loans totaled 10.582 bln drams, in March - 10.842 bln drams and in April - 11.393 bln drams.
At present, the source reported, NMC has general contracts with 15 commercial banks and 3 credit companies: Armbusinessbank, ARARATBANK, Armeconombank, Artsakhbank, Anelik Bank, Areximbank-GPB Group, Ardshininvestbank, VTb Bank (Armenia), HSBC Bank Armenia, INECOBANK, Byblos Bank Armenia, Unibank, Armenian Development Bank, Converse Bank, ArmSwissbank, and First Mortgage Company, Global Credit and Express Credit companies.
NMC was founded on June 16 2009 by the decision of the Central Bank. As of April 1 2011 the statutory capital of the company total 8 bln drams (1st position among UCOs) and total capital made up 8.3 bln drams (1st position), assets totaled 13 bln drams (2nd position). 75% of assets were credit exposures (2nd positions) that were up almost 3fold over the year.
