ArmInfo. The forex intrabank of Armenia from  March 20 to March 24 increased the volume at 7,4%, after the sharp increase in 3 times a week before. Simultaneously with this at the intrabank market, after the activity during the previous week, this week  EUR and USD based transactions entered into active phase.  Within this,  it is already the second week the stock exchange platform is empty.

In the result of this during the week reported AMD changed its correlation to dollar from appreciation to depreciation . from AMD 484 to AMD 485,5 /USD 1, keeping on the depreciation to euro, but within slowing down the speed - from AMD  521 to  AMD 522/ EUR 1, keeping its positions in respect to  RR  at AMD 8,4 RR 1. A year before, for the period of March 1-24 of 2016, AMD appreciated to dollar from AMD 491 to AMD 480/USD 1, and to euro - from AMD 540 to AMD 536/EUR 1,  having depreciated to RR from AMD 6,6 to AMD 7,1 / RR1, which, in comparison to actual rates shows the annual depreciation of  AMD to dollar and ruble.

During whole the 2016, the forex stock exchange showed activity very seldom - per one transaction during March-May: USD 100.000- March, USD 2.950 mln - April and USD 800.000 May,  which was followed by silence.

 During the year of 2016, the Central Bank has been buying   dollars at the forex market in April ($2.4 mln at the rate of  AMD 478,5 /$1),June  ($50.2 mln at the rate of AMD  476,72 /$1), august ($19.8 mln at the rate of  AMD  474,25 /$1), September($28.8 mln at the rate of AMD  474,11 /$1) and October ($50.8 mln at the rate of AMD  475,47 ¤а/$1), and has been selling in January  ($53.1 mln at the rate of AMD  484,69 /$1), February ($41.5 mln at the rate of AMD  492,59 /$1), November ($13.1 mln at the rate of  AMD  478,56 /$1) and December  ($15 mln at the rate of USD  483,06AMD/$1).
