According to the source, 118.9 thousand liters of champagne were produced in the reporting quarter with a slowdown in y-o-y growth from 13.5% to a stagnant 0.4%, and beer - in the amount of 3,808.8 thousand liters, with a slowdown in y-o-y growth from 9.1% to 5.4%.
Due to the change in the calculation methodology from 2022, namely with the transition to the unit of account <100% alcohol> from the previously used unit of account <liter>, there is no dynamics in the data of the Statistical Committee in terms of the production of brandy, whiskey and vodka.
According to statistical data, in Q1 2022, 4,573.9 thousand liters of brandy, 23.8 thousand liters of whiskey, 452.3 thousand liters of vodka, liquor and other spirits were produced in Armenia. A year earlier, the volume of brandy produced in the country increased by 7.5%, whiskey - by 3.1%, and vodka, liquor and other spirits increased by 44.3%.
