ArmInfo.The import of oil products to Armenia in 2022 increased by 6.8% per annum, slightly exceeding 519 thousand tons. The customs value increased by 54.3% - up to $574.2 million, according to the data of the Customs Service of Armenia.
During the reporting period, oil products were mainly imported from Russia (76.1%), Iran (10.2%), Greece (8.2%), Egypt (1.9%), Turkey (1.5%), Romania (0.7%), Republic of Korea (0.3%), as well as from the Netherlands, Georgia, Germany, France, UAE, Finland, Georgia, Belarus, Belgium, Thailand, Poland, Lithuania, India, Canada, Kazakhstan, United Kingdom, USA, Japan, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Israel, Serbia, China, Sweden, Switzerland.
Growth was also registered in the export line. In particular, Armenia has significantly increased the supply of oil products - from 7.4 tons to 389.9 tons, against the backdrop of an increase in customs value up to $2.2 million.
Oil products were mainly exported to Russia (56%), Georgia (33.8%) and Belarus (10%).
