ArmInfo. In the first quarter of 2024, more than 10 cases of administrative offenses were initiated against processors of biometric personal data and special category personal data. As a result, an administrative penalty in the form of  a fine was applied to 8 organizations. The RA Ministry of Justice  reports.

ArmInfo. In January-March 2024, 84 IT companies were included in the list of 1000 large taxpayers of Armenia, which allocated 20.8 billion drams to the state  budget, which is 3.5% or 728 million drams more than a year ago. This  is stated in a study by the Modex consulting company.

ArmInfo.Minister of High-tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited Digitain, one of the largest technological companies operating in the iGaming sector of  Armenia.  According to the press service of the Ministry of  High-Technological Industry, accompanied by Digitain management, the  minister got acquainted with the company's infrastructure, the  created ecosystem, developed products and development programs.

ArmInfo.Moscow reacts to gas overtures between Yerevan and Baku, says Doctor of Political Sciences  Vahe Davtyan. 

ArmInfo. According to estimates by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), to increase energy independence, Armenia needs a new nuclear power plant with a capacity of 600 MW. Abgar Budaghyan, head of USAID Armenia's energy security project, expressed such an opinion on April 26 during public discussions on "Prospects of diversification of the energy sector in Armenia".

ArmInfo. Within days, Converse Bank's dram coupon bonds were bought in the primary market in the  amount of 5 billion drams. It is noteworthy that this tranche was put up for sale together with the dollar bonds on April 17, and within a week the dram bonds were fully distributed. ArmInfo. In Q1 2023, the banking system of Armenia increased tax contributions to the state  treasury by 8.3% per annum - up to 22.2 billion drams ($56.5 million). Of this amount, 85.2% or 18.9 billion drams were paid in direct taxes, with a y-o-y increase of 7.4%.  

ArmInfo. The Executive proposes amendments to the Laws on Lotteries and on Winning Games, Internet Winning Games and Casinos. The main regulations were presented by the Deputy Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee  Artur Manukyan at the sitting of the Standing Committee on Economic  Affairs on April 26.
