ArmInfo. Team Telecom Armenia continues to provide access to a new generation network to all  residents of Armenia: the construction of an advanced NGN network with a capacity of 25 Gb/s has been completed in the city of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn region. According to the company's press  service, the NGN network, which provides astronomical speed of the Internet, is now available to more than 8,000 households in the city of Ashtarak.

ArmInfo. According to preliminary calculations, the list of potential exports from Kazakhstan to Armenia amounts to more than 125 processed goods worth $350 million, Kazakh Minister of Trade and Integration Arman  Shakkaliev stated at the opening of the Armenian-Kazakh business forum, which was held in Yerevan on April 9.

The transaction to acquire 90% of the shares of Ameriabank by the BOGG PLC international financial group, the main asset of which was Bank of Georgia, was completed last Friday.  Now a second major asset in the form of Ameriabank has joined the Group. As previously reported, the total transaction amount was $303.6 million.

ArmInfo.Service sector of Armenia provided revenue in the amount of 473.1 billion drams in Jan-Feb 2024 ($1.2 billion), slowing down in y-o-y growth from 23.5% to 5.2%. This is evidenced by data from the RA Statistical Committee, according to which in February alone, the service sector showed a decline of 0.3% - to 236.2 billion drams ($584.2 million).

ArmInfo.On April 4, IDBank and Idram signed the Joint Declaration on the Women's Empowerment Principles, among other organizations that have joined the UNDP initiative.

ArmInfo.The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) has financed a number of projects in Armenia. Another project totaling $100 million is being prepared. The Fund supports the most important, strategic investment areas.

ArmInfo.The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Armenia with a loan of 60.09 million euros  for the implementation of the urban development investment program.

ArmInfo. The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide Armenia with a loan of 25 million  euros for the implementation of the second stage of the program to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and structures in Yerevan.

ArmInfo.Today, April 5, a trilateral meeting will take place in Brussels between Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, at which economic issues will be discussed.
